Who we are

The Osteopathic & Naprapathic Association of Newfoundland & Labrador (ONNL) is a self-governing body, established by the manual osteopathy profession in Newfoundland .


  • ONNL is committed to improving the health and well-being of people of Newfoundland and Labrador by informing the public and assuring them of competent and ethical osteopathic care.

  • ONNL examines, registers and supervises its members on a voluntary basis.

  • ONNL sets requirements for entry to the manual osteopathy profession for its members, registers osteopathic manual practitioners, sets standards of practice and guidelines for professional practice, monitors competence through a quality assurance program, investigates complaints against osteopathic manual practitioners who are its members and disciplines those members who have committed acts of professional misconduct or who are incapacitated or incompetent.
